हम Computer में विभिन्न प्रकार के मानों को Store करने के लिए Memory में कुछ जगह बनते हैं । और अलग-अलग प्रकार के मानों को Memory में Store करते हैं

यह array एक ऐसा Data structure है जो समान element का group बनाने के लिए इस्तेमाल किया जाता है।

अगर array का नाम लिया जाएगा तो उसके साथ variable word का भी उसे किया जाता हैं वरियाबल में हम विभिन्न पाकर के वैल्यू को सवे करके रखते हैं और
Variable के साथ एक दिक्कत होती है कि हम इसमें एक ही value को स्टोर कर सकते हैं, अगर हमें एक से अधिक values को store करना चाहते हैं तो हमें Array की आवश्यकता होती है| array कुछ इस तरह दिखता है

इसमें जो बॉक्स होते हैं उन्हें index कहा जाता हैं array ko 0 number से start किया जाता हैं पहली वैल्यू यानी कि 0 को lower bound कहते हैं। और array की end value को upper bound कहते हैं।

जब भी कोई यूजर array के दौरा कोई array Create करता हैं तो उसमे array का नाम और उसमे कितनी value store करने वाले है ये define करते है। इसका हम एक exp. दखते है

मान लेते हैं की हम 5 numbers store करना चाहते है तो उसके लिए हम array create करते है। C में arrays create करने का structure नीचे दिया गया है।

size से हमे पता चलता है की कितनी values store करना चाहते है।

उपर में array का नाम num है और उसमे हम  5 integer values store किए है।

3. multi dimensional array

ऐसे array जिसमे एक से जायदा subscripts होती हैं उन्हे multi-dimensional array कहते हैं।
